Our Mission is to foster creative, critical, and divergent thinking in young people. To develop emotionally intelligent and successful young leaders capable of adaptability and collaboration through a challenging outdoor program that will give them confidence, determination and leadership skills that will last a lifetime
Who We Are
The Outdoor Leadership Institute (OLI) is a licensed US based non-profit led by professionals with substantial experience designing and facilitating experiential programming for young people in international settings. In addition, our personnel possess professional certifications in outdoor emergency response and outdoor technical skill proficiencies, as well as advanced degrees in the fields of education and outdoor education. This level of professionalism ensures that our participants are well taken care of when out in the field and the content delivered far exceeds expectations.

We do this because love the outdoors and want to share it with others. We want young people to become more connected to each other and more connected to our natural world. We’ve seen how conquering challenges and overcoming fears can give you a lifelong confidence that you can achieve anything.

Conservation efforts
SAVE A RHINO
It is important to keep in mind that a Rhinos natural environment consists of big terrains and it would be unfair to expect that Rhinos be kept in small enclosures.
Sustainable Forestry
Management and maintenance of forests according to the principals of sustainable development that is conducted without the depletion of natural resources.
Cultural Preservation
It is a village of Embera composed of people who came from Darien and other communities of the East Sector Watershed Panama Canal, dedicated exclusively to tourism.
Turtle Sanctuary
The money allows folks to replace the turtle eggs with chicken eggs, ensuring that an important food source is not lost in the process of ecological conservation.
